The mission of the Paramus Police Union is to advocate for the rights, safety, and well-being of our members while upholding the highest standards of public service and community trust. We are committed to fostering a culture of professionalism, integrity, and accountability, while also ensuring that our officers are provided with the resources, support, and training necessary to serve and protect with honor. Through collaboration, transparency, and respect, we strive to strengthen the relationship between law enforcement and the communities we serve, while ensuring the fair treatment of all members.
The Paramus Policemen’s Benevolent Association, Local No. 186
is comprised of all Officers holding the positions of Patrolman, Traffic Officer, Detective, Sergeant, Traffic Sergeant, Detective Sergeant, Lieutenant, Patrol Lieutenant, Detective Lieutenant, and Captain. The PBA defends the interests and well-being of all Police Officers and Supervisors of the Paramus Police Department. The PBA also strives to build and sustain a positive relationship in our community.
